Join Kelly Kamm for a fun and lighthearted dive into mythical sequencing! This is for yoga teachers, teachers-in-training and devoted students with an interest in creating sequences for themselves at home. A Namaskar is a rhythmic, repetitive sequence (like a sun salutation) with an underlying theme of devotion. Namaskar comes from the word “Namaha” which literally means “not me.” To create a namaskar is to honor someone or something that you find inspiring, worthy or even holy. In this workshop you’ll hear a bunch of stories about different deities, and then we’ll practice crafting a namaskar for the god or goddess that lights up your heart the most! You’ll leave with a few no-fail sequences in your back pocket and hopefully the inspiration to create many more of them!
